Your parents get a daily call. You get peace of mind.
Tari is a voice AI companion that speaks Tamil, English, or tanglish — whatever your family actually speaks. Daily check-ins, medication reminders, and real conversations, all over WhatsApp.

The Distance
8,000 miles is a long way from home.
You want to be there. You really do. But time zones don't care about your love, and Amma's "I'm fine, kanna" covers everything from a headache to a hospital visit. Appa won't mention the dizziness. Nobody tells you until it's an emergency.
You're doing your best from here. But some days, "here" feels impossibly far from "there."
Tari doesn't replace your calls. It fills the gaps between them — like a daily vanakkam you don't have to set an alarm for.
How It Works
Simple enough for Amma. Smart enough for you.
Tari messages daily on WhatsApp
Your parent gets a WhatsApp call or message at their preferred time. No new apps to install, no devices to explain. Just WhatsApp — the app they already use to forward you good morning images.
A real conversation
Tari chats in Tamil, English, or both. It asks about their day, checks on their health, reminds them about medications, and genuinely listens.
You stay in the loop
Get a daily summary of how your parent is doing. If something seems off, Tari alerts you immediately.
What Tari Does
More than a reminder app.
Daily Health Check-ins
"Eppadi irukkeenga?" Tari asks what you'd ask if you were sitting right there with a cup of filter coffee.
Medication Reminders
Gentle, conversational nudges. Tari confirms they've actually taken their medicine.
Emergency Escalation
If your parent reports chest pain, a fall, or distress, Tari guides them to call 108 and alerts you immediately on WhatsApp.
Companionship
Some days, your parent just wants someone to talk to about the neighbour's mango tree. Tari is patient, warm, and always has time.
Message Relay
Send messages through Tari, or chat directly in the WhatsApp group. Your parent can send voice notes, texts, or reply in the next call.
Bilingual Fluency
Tamil, English, or that beautiful tanglish mix every NRI family actually speaks at home.

Questions
Things you might be wondering.
Does my parent need to install anything?
Nope — just WhatsApp, which they almost certainly already have. If your parent can receive a WhatsApp call or message, they can use Tari. You'll also be in a group chat so you can see everything.
What languages does Tari speak?
Tari speaks Tamil, English, and the natural mix of both (Tanglish) that many families actually use. We're adding more South Indian languages soon.
What happens in an emergency?
If your parent reports chest pain, a fall, breathing difficulty, or other distress, Tari will calmly guide them to call 108 (India's emergency number) and immediately alert you on WhatsApp.
How does Tari handle medications?
You tell us your parent's medication schedule during setup. Tari weaves reminders into the conversation naturally and confirms they've actually taken their medicine — not just reminded them to.
Does my parent know they're talking to AI?
Yes, always. Tari introduces itself as an AI companion at the start of every conversation. We believe in full transparency — your parent should always know who they're talking to.
What does the $20/month include?
Everything: daily WhatsApp calls and messages to your parent, health check-ins, medication reminders, emergency escalation, and a daily summary sent to you. No tiers, no add-ons.
Can I choose when Tari checks in?
Yes. You pick the time that works best for your parent — morning, afternoon, or evening. You can change it anytime from the WhatsApp group.
What if my parent doesn't want to talk?
That's okay. Tari is patient and never pushy. If your parent doesn't answer or wants to keep it short, Tari respects that. Many parents who are initially hesitant come to look forward to the calls. And we offer a 30-day trial — if it doesn't work out, no hard feelings, full money back.
